Evolution Swim Academy
CONTEXT:
ESA is a premier learn-to-swim school that offers various youth programming, including swim lessons, a competitive swim team, summer sports camps, swim camps, and junior lifeguard training. The needs of the organization were to distinguish their brand identity and aesthetic through refreshed and modern visuals across the company. The objective was to increase content relevance in their website and promotional materials to attract new clients and further engage and educate existing clients.
MY ROLE:
Visual Designer responsible for all visual content creation and execution across mediums. I implemented UX/UI principles for all design, research, programming, and engineering into web and app-based programs. I redesigned the company’s logo and created all the visuals as well as formatted and programmed the content used in ESA’s website, mobile app, videography, social media posts, promotional digital media campaigns, emails, internal documents, and investor and conference presentations. I produced all the print material, billboards, banners, magazine adds, brochures, canopies and apparel. By distinguishing ESA’s brand identity in the marketplace, I helped contribute to the success of the company from its inception and establishment of its first physical location through its growth and expansion to multiple sites.
Web Design
This project was to re-design the entire Evolution Swim Academy website to be visually clean, appealing and easy to navigate. One of the tasks was to include an interactive video in the homepage and a call to action feature, such as a button to book a lesson or sign up for a particular program. The website also has a section dedicated to the various lessons, facilities and programs offered, with detailed information about each one. Additionally, the website features photos and videos of the swim school facilities and instructors, as well as testimonials from satisfied customers.
Videography
Creating video promotionals for youth programming is an eye-catching and effective way to showcase the benefits and features of the school. I considered the target audience of the parents and what messages would be most appealing such as water safety, skill development and exercise. I focused on the facilities and the services that they offer to help engage users and promote the different programs offered by the school. The goal of these videos was to increase social media presence while also increasing revenue and sales.
